I hope not

We're supposed to get it in the form of some pretty strong storms today through this weekend. It's going to pass through here, but will just be a tropical storm or strong storm by the time it gets here. We could use the rain, so it's not such a bad thing.

I hope everyone stays safe (and dry)!

We had a little bit of rain but it is over now. I quite enjoyed it.

thankfully not. However we did have a really huge wind storm a few days ago. It started mid day with winds abiout 40 mph. The strength continued to rise. By 7:00 pm they were at 80 mph, by 2:00 am they were around 100 mph - there was a recorded gust of 130 mph !! The house shuddered and creaked and the wind howled. Fortunately no damage and the power was only off for a few hours while we slept. By 9:00 am the next day all was still and sooooo quiet.
