Today is mine and my hubby's 20 year anniversary! Wow, I feel too young to be this old hehehe I don't remember what the suggested 'gift' is for the 20th year, but I think we're getting a Tempur-Pedic bed? anyone have one? we keep going between that and the Sleep Number! Just hate to buy another bed and be disappointed again :/

YAY!!! That's awesome! Congratulations :D

I don't know about the bed, either. But I have slept on a sleep number bed in a hotel before and I liked it, but that was just for a few nights. So not sure if that's a good judge

We bought ours at Macys when they were having a big clearance event. DH and I sprawled out on them all to be sure we could find one we liked. It has been the best one we've ever had. Not sure what it is, but it has a pillow top and tempurpetic too.

Congratulations!!!! My hubby and I are just a couple of years behind you!
I know what you mean about being too young to be this old! LOL

I have never tried the tempurpedic, but Joe and I did the whole sleep number thing last weekend. I LOVED it I could have my super soft mattress while he had his hard mattress. He said he didn't notice much difference...but that is because he PREFERS a hard mattress. He had it pretty much like our current mattress. I think the sleep number is fabulous for those of us who prefer different sleep styles. I DID notice a difference...and I LOVED it.

Happy Anniversary! DH and I need to shop for a new bed as well and have been thinking about the Tempur-pedic. Make sure to let us know what you decide to buy.

Thanks, everyone! We've weighed the pros and cons on both beds and have talked to other couples who own either bed.
For those who have slept on the Sleep Number: did you feel the other person move? That's the main problem with our bed, and the fact that DH rolls around like a bear HA! I can put ear plugs in to douse the snoring, but I can't deal with the movement UGH!
I'll let ya'll know what we decide.......I just want to LOVE my bed the way I hear others LOVE their bed  LOL

When we slept on the sleep number, I don't remember feeling DH move. And he is a flopper in his sleep, so I would have remembered

Thank you, Crystal!
Yes, mine is a flopper and a twitcher and I feel it all  DH is afraid the tempurpedic will make him sweat...I don't need a sweaty twitcher/flopper hahaha!

WE have a Sleep Number. You won't feel your Hubby flip flop around. The inside of the mattress is divided in half, so you can set your setting and him his. There is a separate air chamber thing for each of you. Does that make sense?? LOL Now... if only I could get rid of the snoring.... my hubby SNORES!!!
